Manage and oversee all food handling and supplies, including food-purchasing and equipment maintenance. Direct employees involved in receiving, storage, and production of food for patient, retail, and catering operations. Work with suppliers to meet product specifications and contract pricing. Develop menus, recipes, and production schedules; suggest service and presentation models. Participate in policy decisions and overall management of the Nutrition Services Department. Obtain Philadelphia Food Safety Certification within 60 days of hire, with a valid receipt of payment in the interim.
Associates Degree in Culinary Arts (Required) or relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
Minimum 5 years in the hospitality field, including sauté cuisine style, with strong culinary and management experience.
