Qualifications

• Two to three years’ Chef experience in an Italian restaurant.
• Advanced knowledge of culinary principles and techniques; able to lift 50 lbs; advanced sanitation knowledge.
• Knowledge of managing people and complex food/beverage operations.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan and supervise the production, preparation and presentation of food for the flagship Italian restaurant.
• Manage Human Resources in the production and preparation areas: hire, schedule, train, develop, coach and conduct performance reviews.
• Schedule and maintain sanitation of the kitchen and equipment to meet health standards.
• Monitor labor and food costs; report budgets while preserving quality.
• Create and manage promotions to attract guests within corporate guidelines.
• Promote Accident Prevention Program to minimize liabilities.
