Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Group USA affiliate, seeks an Executive Chef to lead daily kitchen operations for Prisma Health System. This hands-on role requires building a strong culinary team, driving quality, and managing cost in a hospital setting.

You will ensure food safety, standardization, and patient-focused dining experiences while adhering to health regulations and departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent culinary experience required.
• 3–5 years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience.
• Hands-on leadership in a high-volume healthcare kitchen preferred.
• Strong knowledge of food cost controls, sanitation and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead all culinary and kitchen operations in a high-volume setting.
• Develop regular and modified menus following guidelines.
• Ensure recipes, portions and presentation meet standards.
• Monitor quality using production sheets and tastings.
• Hire, train, and motivate kitchen staff; oversee equipment and safety.
• Manage inventory and control costs; ensure regulatory compliance.
