Job summary

Sodexo seeks an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations for accounts in the Greater Richmond, Virginia area. You will standardize operations, mentor teams, and craft menus that meet diverse client needs while building strong partnerships that elevate the dining experience.

You will oversee people, set direction, and deploy resources, with performance evaluations and hires/fires decisions driven by leadership.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 1–3 years management experience.
• 1–3 years related culinary experience.
• ServSafe certification and HACCP knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Lead standardized culinary operations across accounts in the Richmond area.
• Mentor and develop kitchen staff and driving professional growth.
• Oversee procurement and purchasing to ensure quality ingredients and cost control.
• Design menus balancing creativity with client preferences and nutrition.
