Job summary

Hirebridge is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations for a high-volume, family-owned restaurant in Charleston, SC. This role emphasizes food quality, menu execution, cost control, and strong people leadership.

You will guide the BOH team, set standards, and drive training and development while collaborating with ownership on budgeting, forecasting, and guest experience. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience in a high-volume setting.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• Proven leadership of large, high-volume kitchens and development of multiple levels of culinary leadership.
• Strong financial acumen: managing food cost, labor, inventory, margins.

Responsibilities

• Lead BOH operations and kitchen performance across a high-volume environment.
• Own food quality, presentation, and recipe adherence across all service periods.
• Develop, coach, and hold accountable Sous Chefs, Kitchen Managers, and hourly staff.
• Own food cost performance, labor, inventory, and waste reduction.
