Hirebridge in Charleston, SC seeks a strong Kitchen Manager to oversee day-to-day BOH operations in a high-volume restaurant. You will lead cooks, prep staff, and dish team, ensure stations are ready for service, and partner with leadership to maintain quality and safety.

The role emphasizes staffing, training, inventory, and cost controls with a focus on standards, organization, and timely execution. Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred to support diverse staff and guests.

Qualifications

• 2-4+ years of Kitchen Manager or comparable BOH supervisory experience.
• Strong knowledge of high-volume kitchen operations and staff management.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily BOH operations and ensure kitchen is organized and ready for service.
• Lead cooks, prep staff, dish team, and other BOH employees on assigned shifts.
• Manage station setup, prep levels, production needs, and shift readiness.
• Support BOH scheduling, staffing, attendance, and labor deployment.
• Monitor labor productivity and seek efficiency improvements without compromising quality.
• Assist with ordering, receiving, inventory counts, storage, and rotation.
• Control food costs through portions, recipe adherence, and waste reduction.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, labeling, storage, and regulatory compliance.
