Job summary

TouchPoint is hiring an Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensure safe and sanitary work environments, and direct meal preparation in line with corporate programs. The role targets an entrepreneurial culinary professional with leadership capabilities.

The position emphasizes high-volume foodservice management, staff training, and adherence to quality, safety, and cost controls across menus and production processes.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Extensive catering experience a plus.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Institutional and batch cooking experience.
• Hands-on chef experience.
• Knowledge of food and catering trends; focus on quality, production, sanitation, cost controls, presentation.
• Proficient with computers; MS Office, Outlook, Internet.
• ServSafe certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus per guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards.
• Trains kitchen staff in food prep, safety, and sanitation.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas.
• Manages inventory to ensure availability within guidelines.
• Makes decisions on leftover food utilization within guidelines.
• Complies with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Attends departmental meetings and professional development.
