Job summary

TouchPoint, Support Services, a Compass Group USA company, is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensure safety and sanitation, and lead a culinary team in accordance with corporate programs.

The role emphasizes high-volume institutional dining, menu planning, staff training, quality control, and adherence to health regulations; ServSafe certification is preferred and strong computer literacy is expected.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience required.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience is highly desirable.
• Institutional and batch cooking experience.
• Hands-on chef experience is a must.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food trends, quality, sanitation, and presentation.
• Proficient with computers including MS Office.
• Willing to participate in client satisfaction programs.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards; maintains production worksheets and waste logs.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling, equipment operation, and sanitation.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and work areas.
• Maintains inventory to ensure product availability within guidelines.
• Decides on utilization of leftover food within company guidelines.
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and audits.
• Follows safety policies and participates in departmental meetings and programs.
