Mason Street Grill, a high-volume Milwaukee dining staple, is seeking an Executive Chef to lead culinary operations with hands-on leadership and mentorship. You will uphold top-tier quality, consistency, and presentation across the menu in a renowned establishment.

With 5+ years in culinary management, you will drive innovation, cost control, and staff development while coordinating with the restaurant team to deliver exceptional guest experiences and events.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience guiding a high-volume culinary team.
• Extensive knowledge of hot and cold food preparation, classical and modern techniques, and standardized recipe execution.
• Strong understanding of safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards in a high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all daily culinary operations in a seamless, disciplined kitchen environment.
• Recruit, train, mentor, and elevate the culinary team with advanced preparation methods and flawless execution.
• Lead preparation and production of all dishes for the restaurant and private dining with world-class presentation.
• Manage all aspects of food procurement including ordering, receiving, storage, and rotation; ensure freshness and compliance.
• Implement and enforce cost-control systems for food, labor, quality, and waste reduction while maintaining standards.
• Uphold sanitation and safety practices; ensure a pristine, organized kitchen.
• Develop and manage culinary schedules to maintain optimal staffing and budgets.
• Collaborate with Engineering on equipment performance and preventive maintenance.
