Job summary

Mason Street Grill in downtown Milwaukee seeks an Executive Chef to lead our high-volume kitchen, elevate guest experiences, and mentor a talented culinary team. This role drives culinary excellence while upholding quality, consistency, and presentation that reflect our storied brand.

You will manage procurement, cost control, sanitation, and schedules, oversee events, and partner with Hospitality and Engineering to maintain equipment and service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of culinary management in high-volume upscale settings.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Proficient with hot and cold food preparation, techniques, and recipe execution.
• Strong knowledge of safety, sanitation, and regulatory standards.
• Excellent leadership and team development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee daily culinary operations in a disciplined kitchen.
• Recruit, train, and elevate the culinary team.
• Lead production and presentation of all dishes with consistent quality.
• Manage food procurement, storage, and rotation with strict freshness.
• Implement cost-control systems for food, labor, and waste.
