Job summary

Unidine Healthcare, part of Compass Group USA, seeks an Executive Chef for a Long Term Care facility in Gillette, Wyoming. You will oversee kitchen operations, ensure safety, and direct meal preparation per corporate guidelines. Requires energetic culinary leadership and a drive to innovate.

The role emphasizes achieving quality, sanitation, and cost controls while mentoring staff and maintaining compliance with health regulations. CDM/CFPP credential must be earned within a defined timeframe.

Qualifications

• THIS POSITION REQUIRES CANDIDATES EARN THEIR CDM, CFPP credential within a specific time frame
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience
• Hands-on chef experience a must
• Extensive catering and high-volume foodservice operations experience
• Strong knowledge of food cost controls, sanitation and presentation

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus according to established guidelines
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safe handling and sanitation
• Establishes cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas
• Maintains inventory and ensures product availability as needed
• Decides utilization of leftover food within company guidelines
• Complies with health and sanitation regulations and audits
• Follows safety policies and participates in departmental meetings
• Leads and participates in vendor and client satisfaction activities
