Job summary

Hotel Equities is seeking an Executive Chef for the Marriott Fort Collins, Colorado, to lead all culinary operations including the restaurant, banquet, and catering efforts. This hands-on leadership role requires active kitchen involvement, staff coaching, and adherence to brand standards to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years in an Executive Chef role, formal culinary education, and experience with major hotel brand standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of Executive Chef experience, including planning and executing large-scale events and banquet functions.
• Formal culinary education from an accredited program is preferred.
• Experience with Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, Hyatt, or similar hotel brand standards is preferred.
• Previous experience as an Executive Chef in a hotel environment strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead all culinary operations for the Marriott Fort Collins, including restaurant, banquet, catering, and hotel food production.
• Work hands-on in the kitchen and coach staff to maintain quality and guest satisfaction.
• Plan and manage procurement, production, and presentation of all hotel food in a safe, sanitary, cost-efficient manner.
• Monitor kitchen sanitation, equipment maintenance, and compliance with standards and regulations.
• Develop menus and financial plans; forecast and control labor and food costs to meet budget objectives.
• Oversee events by coordinating with catering staff to ensure guest expectations are met.
