Job summary

The Center at Park West is seeking a full-time Executive Chef to lead the dietary team in a skilled nursing facility. The role emphasizes planning, coordination of dietary services, and creating exceptional patient dining experiences. Weekend or on-call availability is required.

Responsibilities include staff management, menu planning, inventory control, and ensuring compliance with health regulations. A strong culinary leader with communication skills will thrive in our team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in a culinary leadership position in skilled nursing facility (preferred).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to have difficult conversations while maintaining compassion.
• Must be self-motivated and have excellent follow-through.
• Multitasking skills with a calm demeanor in chaotic situations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and manage the Dietary department to deliver an extraordinary culinary experience for patients.
• Hire, train, schedule and supervise dietary staff.
• Plan daily menus and customized meal plans to meet dietary needs.
• Maintain inventory, purchase food, supplies and uniforms within budget.
• Ensure sanitation and safety in all food service operations.
