Benchmark Senior Living's Meadow Ridge community in Redding, CT is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead all kitchen operations, manage procurement, production, and presentation, and ensure meals meet quality and regulatory standards across levels of care.

The role requires strong leadership, cost control, menu planning, and adherence to safety and dietary guidelines, with a focus on resident satisfaction and operational efficiency in a life care community.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in culinary arts preferred and relevant professional development.
• Minimum of three years’ experience as a Chef/Kitchen Manager in a food service environment.
• Successful completion of recognized food safety course and ongoing training.

Responsabilités

• Plans, staffs, organizes and coordinates meal preparation across levels of care.
• Manages procurement and budget for food, cleaning, and paper goods.
• Monitors food quality, temperatures, portions, and presentation to standards.
• Maintains regulatory documentation for dining standards and compliance.
• Ensures compliance with resident dietary restrictions and safety procedures.
