Job summary

Eurest in Wilmington, DE seeks an Executive Chef to oversee kitchen operations, ensure safety and sanitation, and direct meal preparation per corporate programs. This Monday–Friday role offers leadership in a high-volume dining environment within corporate cafes and executive dining rooms.

You will train staff, manage menus, control costs, and ensure quality from recipe to plating, while maintaining compliance with health regulations.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience.
• Hands-on chef experience is a must.
• High-volume foodservice operations experience desirable.
• Knowledge of food cost controls and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Plans regular and modified menus per established guidelines.
• Follows standardized recipes, portioning and presentation standards.
• Trains kitchen staff in food preparation, safety and sanitation.
• Maintains cleaning and maintenance schedules for equipment and areas.
• Maintains inventory to ensure product availability and cost control.
• Ensures compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
