The Chef de Cuisine will manage staff, train employees, and maintain a positive relationship with the partner while meeting project timelines and sustainability standards.

Qualifications

• Culinary or college degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 3 years kitchen supervisory experience in a high-volume setting.
• General hospitality knowledge and interest in sustainability.
• Ability to operate Web-based ordering systems.
• Proficient with Google Suite and email.
• Ability to meet unit-specific uniform standards and follow PPE guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Meet payroll, café service, AR, HR, and project deadlines for the client and management.
• Teach and adhere to Restaurant Associates philosophy and commitment to quality food and service.
• Lead and develop culinary staff and ensure food quality and presentation.
• Balance kitchen operations with admin duties, menu research and development.
• Ensure health, safety, sanitation compliance and safety training.
