Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 to lead Catering and Culinary operations under the guidance of the Executive Chef 3 at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX. This dynamic role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring a high-end and innovative product for Residential, Retail, and Catering Operations. The role will also include managing food production systems, food safety and sanitation, team management, and other various duties.

What You'll Do

  • be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis and food production forecasting
  • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
