Role Overview : Grow your career and develop a team that shares your desire to make a difference! Sodexo is seeking an Executive Chef 2 for our campus segment account at University of North Carolina School of Arts (UNCSA) in Winston Salem, NC. UNCSA is a unique public conservatory and arts school offering professional training in performing, visual, and moving image arts, and is the first public arts conservatory in the United States.

Dining Services includes a Main Dining Hall serving 950 hot meals daily, WPB Starbucks Coffee Shop, two C-Stores, Freshens, and a Ghost kitchen.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  1. University and/or fine dining culinary and culinary management experience; a culinary degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  2. Experience with training and leading a culinary staff.
  3. Experience with online ordering and inventory management.
  4. Experience with food and labor costing.
  5. Experience with menu creation and culinary catering production.
  6. Willingness to travel weekly, including some overnight stays.
  7. Strong culinary background with diverse menu knowledge and high-level understanding of controlling food costs while delivering high-quality cuisine.
  8. Previous experience managing volume food production.
  9. Driver's License required.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, food cost analysis, and food production forecasting.
  2. Implement Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality.
  3. Develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations.
  4. Ensure food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards are met.
  5. Maintain working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production, and management systems.
