Job Summary

The Prepared Foods Team Leader manages the department at both locations, ensuring smooth operations. You will guide Team Members and guests in creating great meals and staying updated on new products. Leaders are responsible for the department's performance at all times. Represent the organization professionally, promote inclusion, diversity, and dignity, and coach Team Members regularly to foster development and success.

Job Description

• Experience Required: Retail work experience or Store Leader recommendation
• Experience Desired: Retail leadership or supervisory experience; successful performance as a Peer Trainer, in-store champion, or similar role; relevant product knowledge; good performance and discipline record
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or Licensing Required: Food Safety
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Interview, select, and train Team Members
• Direct the work of Team Members
• Evaluate Team Members' productivity and efficiency for promotions or changes in status
• Handle issues and complaints from Team Members
• Discipline Team Members as needed
• Plan and assign work tasks
• Ensure safety and security of Team Members and the store
• Manage department or store budget and inventory
• Monitor and implement compliance measures
• Oversee training to reduce turnover and control labor costs
• Provide motivational leadership, setting an example of respect
• Identify team strengths and opportunities, plan strategically
