Dietary Manager/Executive Chef

Executive Chef

Shift: M-F, Weekends as needed

Hours: 7-3

The Role Itself

1. Maintain rotating menu and order supplies within established budgets.
2. Ensure proper storage, labeling, and dating of food per guidelines.
3. Monitor HACCP programs, check food temperatures, and maintain sanitation and food safety practices.
4. Prepare meals according to the menu cycle, emphasizing attractiveness and taste.
5. Interact with patients and staff, modeling excellent customer service.
6. Assist in cleaning, ensure staff follows cleaning schedules, and maintain equipment.
7. Create dietary staff schedules, ensuring snacks align with resident preferences and physician orders.
8. Practice safety, infection control, and emergency procedures.
9. Coach and train dietary staff.
