Job summary

DealHub Ltd in Austin is seeking an experienced CFO or senior finance leader to join the executive team, guiding financial strategy, planning, and operations for a manufacturing-focused organization. You will own budgeting, long-range planning, cost accounting, inventory management, and capital investment; lead ERP systems, drive margin improvements, and partner with operations, engineering, and sales.

CPA/MBA preferred, 12+ years, strong board/investor communication, and ability to scale

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive finance leadership, incl 5+ years in senior role (CFO, VP Finance, or Controller) within manufacturing.
• Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
• Experience with ERP and manufacturing execution systems.
• Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to boards/investors.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, partnering with the CEO on overall business strategy and growth plans.
• Develop and execute financial strategies that support scaling manufacturing operations.
• Act as primary liaison to the Board of Directors, investors, and lenders on financial matters.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Present insight to leadership to improve margins through product line, customer, and contract analysis.
• Provide recommendations on capacity expansion, automation investments, and new product lines.
• Oversee standard costing, variance analysis, and BOM cost management.
• Partner with Operations to improve inventory valuation, stock counts, and waste.
• Manage working capital.
• Support procurement and supply chain on cost forecasting.
• Ensure accurate GAAP financial statements and strong internal controls.
• Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners.
• Oversee regulatory compliance.
• Manage banking relationships, debt facilities, and cash management.
• Build, mentor, and scale finance and accounting organization.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Engineering, and Sales.
