Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Chief Administrative Officer for UT Dell Medical School to act as the Dean's administrative dyad partner and lead enterprise administration during a period of rapid growth.

This executive will oversee finance, HR, IT, facilities, development, marketing, compliance, and other shared services, shaping strategy, governance, and operational excellence to sustain a premier academic health system in Central Texas.

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years of senior healthcare leadership experience or equivalent.
• Experience leading large, matrixed healthcare organizations.
• Proven ability to translate strategy into operational plans.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic and operational dyad partner to the Dean and SVPMA.
• Provide direction for UT Dell Medical School's growth as a premier academic health center.
• Lead enterprise strategic and operating plans and organizational structure.
• Oversee finance, HR, IT, facilities, development, marketing, and compliance functions.
• Align enterprise priorities with administrative operations across departments.
• Drive operational excellence and sustained growth.
• Foster partnerships with external organizations to advance goals.
