Job summary

RockBridge Search & Recruitment seeks an Executive Vice President, COO/CRO for an Irvine-based bank, guiding operational excellence and enterprise risk strategy. Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in banking or financial services.
• Executive-level COO/CRO or dual-role experience in a regulated bank.
• Deep understanding of banking regulations (FDIC, OCC, Federal Reserve) and risk governance.
• Proven ability to scale organizations, implement systems, and lead transformations.
• Executive presence with ability to influence at Board and investor levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide operational strategies aligning with growth, efficiency, and service excellence.
• Oversee day-to-day banking operations across retail, commercial, treasury, loan ops, and back-office functions.
• Drive process optimization, automation, and digital transformation of the operating model.
• Establish KPIs and data-driven performance metrics for decision making.
• Partner with regulators and leadership to ensure compliance and effective risk management.
• Lead ERM framework covering credit, operational, compliance, market, and liquidity risks.
