Job summary

RockBridge Search is seeking an accomplished Operations Executive to lead the bank’s operational platform, driving growth with disciplined execution, regulatory awareness, financial intelligence, and a relentless focus on customers.

Qualifications

Significant senior-level operations leadership experience within banking or financial services.
Experience overseeing complex banking operations and cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of regulations, operational risk, internal controls, compliance, and regulatory expectations.
Experience working with executive leadership, auditors, regulators, and Boards.
Strong financial acumen with budgets, profitability, operating expenses, performance metrics, and forecasts.
Proven success improving operational efficiency, scalability, controls, and service delivery.
Experience with core banking systems, digital banking, payments, automation, and banking technology.
Knowledge of deposit operations, loan administration, treasury services, or related banking functions.
Experience managing managers and senior-level professionals across multiple functional areas.
Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

Provide executive leadership and strategic oversight for banking operations across multiple functional areas.
Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with growth objectives, financial goals, and risk appetite.
Partner with the CEO and executive leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term growth initiatives.
Evaluate the operating model and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, scalability, profitability, service quality, and risk management.
Oversee and strengthen operational policies, procedures, workflows, systems, and internal controls.
Ensure operational practices comply with banking laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Audit, Legal, Credit, Finance, and IT to maintain a strong control environment.
Establish meaningful KPIs and reporting metrics to measure performance and guide decisions.
Analyze operational and financial data to identify inefficiencies, risks, revenue opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Lead initiatives to reduce operating costs without compromising service, compliance, or controls.
