Job summary

Motek, a Mediterranean concept restaurant and part of Happy Corner Hospitality, seeks an Executive Baker to lead bread and pastry production with a strong emphasis on quality and consistency.

You will oversee the bakery station, manage a baking team, and collaborate with leadership to align output with menus and operations. A minimum of five years in baking with leadership experience is preferred, plus formal baking training.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of professional baking experience, including at least two years in a leadership or head baker role; Mediterranean or Middle Eastern baking experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of bread and pastry techniques and dough handling.
• Strong working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
• Experience managing inventory, ordering, and ingredient cost control.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and presentation across all baked items.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and proper storage of baking ingredients.
