Job summary

Motek Florida is seeking an Executive Baker to lead our Mediterranean bread and pastry production. You will guide the bakery staff, maintain quality, and ensure items leaving the kitchen reflect Motek’s craftsmanship and flavor.

This role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced kitchen and a focus on consistent, high-quality results. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of dough handling, robust food-safety practices, and 5+ years of baking experience including leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Five years baking experience with at least two in a leadership role.
• Culinary or baking degree or formal training preferred.
• Deep knowledge of bread and pastry techniques and dough handling.
• Strong food safety, sanitation and health-regulation knowledge.
• Experience managing inventory, ordering and ingredient costs.
• Ability to lead a hands-on kitchen team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency.
• Clear communicator with a collaborative mindset.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production of breads, pastries and Mediterranean baked goods.
• Ensure consistency in taste, texture and presentation across items.
• Manage inventory, ordering and proper storage of baking ingredients.
• Lead the bread and pastry production team with hands-on guidance.
• Monitor equipment and ensure cleanliness and proper function.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and health department standards.
• Collaborate with General Manager to align bakery output with menu needs.
• Support labor scheduling and productivity goals within the bakery.
