Qualifications

• Proven leadership in higher education, including governance, program administration, or artistic direction.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with a collaborative leadership style.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of the BSOM in developing strategic initiatives to enhance reputation, visibility, and impact regionally and nationally.
• Provide leadership in assessment, accreditation, faculty support, and student success.
• Coordinate with faculty on recruitment, outreach, and community engagement to attract high-achieving students.
• Contribute to faculty development and mentorship, guiding teaching effectiveness, scholarship, and promotion/tenure prep.
• Collaborate on BSOM budget management to advance strategic goals.
• Represent the School of Music at university and community events as needed.
• Determine instructional assignments and scholarly/creative activity based on program needs and disciplinary expertise.
