Make a Difference Behind the Mission

At HopeWest, our mission is at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to the CEO who will play a vital role in supporting executive leadership and helping our organization continue to serve our community with compassion, excellence, and purpose.

This is more than an administrative position. It is an opportunity to serve as a trusted partner to the CEO, ensuring that priorities move forward, communication is seamless, and the day-to-day operations of the executive office are organized, professional, and effective.

What You’ll Do

The Executive Assistant to the President & CEO provides high-level, confidential, and strategic administrative support to the President & CEO and serves as a key resource to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors. Working in a highly trusted relationship with the CEO, the Executive Assistant manages complex scheduling and priorities, coordinates executive communications and activities, supports Board governance processes, facilitates executive and external relationships, and manages special projects on behalf of the CEO.

The Executive Assistant serves as an extension of the Office of the CEO and exercises a high degree of judgment, discretion, professionalism, initiative, and attention to detail. The position requires the ability to anticipate needs, identify priorities, independently solve problems, and appropriately manage highly sensitive and confidential information.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Organizational Leadership, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant executive-level administrative experience may be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible executive administrative experience directly supporting a President, CEO, or other C-suite executive.
  • Experience supporting a Board of Directors and/or governance activities strongly preferred.
  • Current Notary certification is required and must be maintained for organizational purposes.
  • Valid Colorado driver's license, reliable transportation, and adequate automobile insurance required.
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exercise sound judgment and maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Are comfortable interacting with executives, board members, community leaders, donors, and other stakeholders.
  • Can manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Anticipate needs rather than waiting to be asked.
  • Are confident preparing professional documents, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Are highly proficient with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, discretion, flexibility, and follow-through.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively and contributing to a mission-driven organization.
Why HopeWest?
  • Competitive pay structure starting at $36.15-$40.00 per hour depending on applicable experience.
  • UMR medical, Delta Dental, VSP vision insurance starting the month following a start date.
  • Immediately start accruing PTO and medical leave.
  • Colorado Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI)
  • 15% discount at Spoons Bistro & Bakery, and Heirlooms locations.
  • Employer paid life insurance and Employee Assistance Program.
The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is someone who can confidently manage the details while keeping sight of the bigger picture. You are someone who can walk into a busy day, determine what matters most, anticipate what the CEO and organization will need, and make things happen.

You bring discretion, initiative, professionalism, warmth, and exceptional attention to detail to everything you do.

If you are looking for an opportunity to make an impact behind the scenes while directly supporting an organization with a meaningful mission, we would love to hear from you.
