Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting a deal team.
  • Experience in private equity, investment banking, asset management, or similar financial services.
  • Proven ability to support senior investment professionals in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional calendar management and complex travel coordination.
  • Highly proactive with strong judgment and anticipation of needs.
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and make independent decisions.

  • Coordinate meetings with senior executives and portfolio company leadership.

  • Manage expenses and other administrative processes with discretion.
  • Coordinate conferences, dinners, events, and team initiatives.
  • Build relationships with stakeholders and anticipate team needs.
  • Provide backup support and collaborate with the broader administrative team.

Executive Assistant – Private Equity Deal Team | New York City

Our client, a highly regarded and fast-paced investment firm, is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to support a senior-level deal team in its New York City office.

This is an exciting opportunity for a polished, proactive, and highly organized EA who is comfortable operating in a high-pressure, transaction-driven environment and can confidently manage complex priorities with a high degree of independence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-level administrative support to senior investment professionals
  • Manage complex, constantly changing calendars and meeting schedules
  • Coordinate extensive domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries and last-minute changes
  • Coordinate meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including senior executives and portfolio company leadership
  • Support board meetings, governance meetings, financial reviews, and other time-sensitive deal-related activities
  • Manage expenses and other administrative processes with accuracy and discretion
  • Coordinate conferences, dinners, events, and other team initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and proactively anticipate the needs of the team
  • Provide backup support and collaborate closely with the broader administrative team
Requirements:
  • 5–7+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting a deal team — REQUIRED
  • Prior experience within private equity, investment banking, asset management, or another transaction-oriented financial services environment strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to support senior investment professionals in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Exceptional calendar management and complex travel coordination skills
  • Highly proactive with strong judgment and the ability to anticipate needs
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and make independent decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a polished, professional demeanor
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Outlook and calendar management
