Food & Friends seeks an Executive Assistant in Washington, DC to provide critical support to the CEO and Board of Directors. The role encompasses drafting donor correspondence, scheduling, attending meetings, and minute-taking.
The successful candidate will have at least two years of senior administrative experience, strong MS Office (Outlook) skills, and a proven ability to maintain confidentiality and manage multiple priorities in a nonprofit setting.

We seek an Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to the CEO and Board of Directors. The Assistant will:
Must be available to work some evenings and be willing to work in a traditional office environment.
The successful candidate will have at least two years of senior administrative experience, including experience reporting to an executive or other comparable individual. Requires proven experience drafting correspondence and taking meeting minutes. Other qualifications include a valid driver’s license; strong knowledge of MS Office, including Outlook; excellent verbal and written communication skills; sense of tact and diplomacy; superb organization and time management skills; keen sense of confidentiality; and the ability to work in a culturally competent manner with diverse populations. Nonprofit experience a plus. Offer of employment contingent upon a background check and pre-employment drug test
The Executive Assistant pays a salary in the range of $78,000 to $83,000. The generous benefits package includes medical, dental, disability, retirement plan, paid maternity/paternity leave, three weeks of paid leave for new hires, and weekly short Fridays. Food & Friends is Metro accessible.
