Job description

We’re partnering with a leading venture capital firm to find an EA who can keep pace with investors backing the next generation of technology companies.

You’ll work closely with a senior investor, with lighter support for a second investment team member. The right person can read the room, think a few steps ahead, and keep things moving when priorities change. You know when to make the call, when to ask a question, and what needs attention before anyone flags it.

The Role
  • Own a complex, constantly evolving calendar, balancing founder meetings, investment conversations, and internal priorities.
  • Handle travel end to end, with thoughtful planning around flights, hotels, dining, and the details that make a packed schedule work.
  • Stay ahead of shifting priorities, resolve conflicts, and close loops without repeated follow-up.
  • Build strong working relationships with founders, fellow EAs, and the broader investment team.
  • Coordinate occasional personal appointments and family logistics.
  • Be responsive when something urgent comes up, including occasional after-hours needs.
Who You Are
  • An experienced EA with a background in venture capital, private equity, finance, or supporting startup leadership. VC experience is strongly preferred.
  • Comfortable working with people who move quickly and expect you to exercise your own judgment.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to reprioritize without losing track of what matters.
  • Resourceful, direct, discreet, and dependable. You take ownership and bring solutions.
  • Quick to learn new tools and find better ways to get things done.
  • Someone who enjoys building a close working partnership and learning how an investor thinks, works, and spends their time.
The Details
  • Onboarding: Begin with a narrower scope and build toward primary executive support as the partnership develops.
  • Compensation: $160,000–$180,000, plus bonus; flexibility for an exceptional candidate.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits and carry participation.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Executive Assistant to work alongside leading venture capital investors, support the founders shaping tomorrow’s technology landscape, and play a key role in a fast-paced, high-impact investment environment.
