Position Overview

We're hiring an Executive Assistant to support the leadership team and day-to-day operations of SemiAnalysis Capital. This is a hands-on role spanning executive support, scheduling, travel, events, and office administration.

You'll be an active participant in our small organization, acting as a force multiplier for the investment and operations teams. You'll own calendars, travel, and logistics, serve as the first point of contact for founders, LPs, and co‑investors, and run the events and rhythms that keep the firm connected to its network. This is a high‑trust seat.

We're looking for someone who anticipates needs, exercises sound judgment, and takes pride in getting the details right. You should enjoy supporting others, building trusted relationships, and seeing tasks through from start to finish.

This is a full‑time role based in San Francisco, with in‑office attendance expected 4–5 days per week.

Responsibilities
  • Manage complex calendars and coordinate meetings across internal teams and external contacts, anticipating scheduling conflicts and shifting priorities.
  • Coordinate domestic and international travel, including itineraries, accommodations, and related logistics.
  • Support executive communications by organizing incoming requests, coordinating responses, and tracking follow‑ups.
  • Ensure the team is prepared for meetings by coordinating materials, relevant information, and logistics.
  • Serve as a reliable point of contact for founders, investors, portfolio companies, and other firm relationships.
  • Plan and coordinate firm events, team offsites, and other gatherings, including vendors and logistics.
  • Keep day‑to‑day office operations running smoothly, including supplies, invoices, vendors, and maintaining a welcoming environment for visitors.
  • Maintain organized records, improve administrative processes, and take ownership of special projects as needed.
Requirements
  • 2–4 years of experience in executive support, administrative coordination, or a similar role in a fast‑moving environment.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to anticipate needs, resolve issues independently, and recognize when to ask for guidance.
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information and relationships.
  • Strong ownership and follow‑through, with a willingness to handle both routine tasks and unexpected requests.
  • Comfort using calendar, communication, document, and expense management tools, and learning new systems.
  • Ability to work full‑time from San Francisco with regular in‑office attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience at a venture capital firm, investment firm, startup, or professional services organization.
  • Experience coordinating schedules across time zones, international travel, or events.
  • Experience with contact management systems and office administration.
What We Offer
  • Base salary of $100,000–$120,000 and competitive bonus target. Actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.
  • Full medical/dental/vision, 401(k), generous PTO.
  • A front‑row seat to venture investing and exposure to founders, operators, and investors across the industry.

This is an opportunity to work closely with a venture investment team and take meaningful ownership of the administrative work that helps the firm operate effectively.

SemiAnalysis Capital is an equal opportunity employer. California pay transparency law requires the salary range above; final compensation depends on experience.
