Job summary

Dirac is seeking an experienced Executive/Operations Lead to run the CEO’s calendar, manage travel, and oversee the NYC office.

You will work closely with the executive team, own operations from day one, and help scale a venture-backed startup while shaping culture, travel, events, and facilities. This role offers real ownership and visibility into how the company grows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years supporting executives or running an office, ideally at a startup, VC fund, or fast-paced professional services firm.
• Confident calendar and travel management across time zones.
• A habit of anticipating what’s needed before anyone asks.
• Clear, warm, concise writing; you’ll represent the CEO in every email you send.
• Fluency in Google Workspace and Slack, and the instinct to pick up new tools quickly.
• Proven discretion with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Run the CEO's calendar, inbox, and meeting prep so every hour goes to what matters most.
• Plan complex travel for customer visits, trade shows, and international trips.
• Prepare briefing docs, agendas, and follow-ups so nothing drops between meetings.
• Be a trusted partner on confidential work, including fundraising, hiring, and board matters.
• Run our office in the Empire State Building: vendors, supplies, and facilities.
• Shape meals, snacks, and the daily feel of the space.
• Plan team events and offsites.
• Support expense tracking, vendor invoices, and simple business operations.

Dirac is building the creative suite for manufacturing engineering. Manufacturing engineering has been underserved by fractured tooling. The work of defining how a product gets built is spread across process plans, MBOMs, routings, work instructions, spreadsheets, PLM configurations, ERP tables, and internal tools. Each artifact represents only part of the process, forcing engineers to rebuild context whenever a design changes.

About The Role

You’ll be the person who makes Dirac run. You’ll work side by side with our executive team and own the office, so our engineers, sellers, and executives can spend every hour on customers and product. This is our first dedicated operations hire outside the leadership team, which means real ownership from day one, not a narrow task list. You’ll have a front‑row seat to how a venture‑backed company scales, and the scope grows as fast as you do. Dirac's leadership runs like a well‑oiled machine, the office is a place people love coming to, travel and events just happen, and nobody on the team ever wonders who to ask.

Compensation Package

Base: $90K – $110K + Equity

$90,000 — $110,000 USD
