Jobtailor is seeking an experienced senior administrative professional to support the Chair of Emergency Medicine, the Department Administrator, faculty, and residents. You will manage calendars, coordinate travel, draft correspondence, and prepare meeting materials.
This role requires strong MS Office skills, the ability to handle confidential information, and experience with Workday, Box, and SharePoint. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required.
• Provide senior-level administrative support to the Chair of Emergency Medicine, Department Administrator, faculty, and resident physicians
• Manage calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, correspondence, and departmental activities
• Coordinate communications with faculty, staff, and other campus departments
• Prepare presentations, reports, correspondence, meeting materials, and minutes
• Maintain departmental spreadsheets, databases, files, and records
• Process and reconcile travel expenses and the department’s BTA card account
• Procure supplies and services and process purchase requisitions in Workday
• Identify appropriate cost centers for departmental expenses
• Serve as departmental timekeeper and assist with screening applicant resumes
• Track faculty and resident expenditures from designated fund accounts
• Manage general office operations
• Protect sensitive and confidential information
• Perform other duties as assigned
Demonstrates expertise in providing senior-level administrative support, managing calendars, and coordinating communications within a medical department. Proficient in Microsoft Office and organizational software, ensuring efficient office operations and handling sensitive information.
