Job summary

Avathon, Inc. in Austin, TX seeks an Engagement Director to lead delivery for our largest client programs. You’ll own executive sponsorship, shape expansion opportunities, and ensure outcomes drive measurable business value.

You’ll supervise multiple engagements, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage P&L, and collaborate with Sales to configure compelling justifications for renewal and growth. You will mentor delivery leaders and set governance standards to ensure consistent, high-impact

Qualifications

• 12+ years in enterprise technology delivery or management consulting.
• 4+ years in a senior engagement leadership or client partner role.
• Experience leading AI, data platform deployments in asset-intensive industries.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%; based in Pleasanton, CA or Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Own executive relationships at VP, SVP, and C-suite levels across strategic accounts.
• Define long-term engagement strategy and multi-year partnership vision.
• Lead executive business reviews and steering committee meetings.
• Identify and advance expansion opportunities within existing accounts (new use cases, modules, expanded user populations).
• Oversee delivery health of multiple engagements, setting governance standards and ensuring scope, schedule, and quality.
