Job summary

Avathon is seeking an Engagement Director, Avathon's most senior client-facing delivery leader, accountable for the commercial health, executive relationships, and strategic outcomes of our largest engagements. You will lead multiple cross-functional teams, oversee governance, drive value realization, and identify expansion opportunities within key accounts while maintaining executive sponsorship.

Based in Pleasanton, CA, travel up to 80%.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise technology delivery, management consulting, or professional services.
• Experience owning P&L and executive relationships in large engagements.
• Proven ability to lead multi-workstream AI/data platform deployments in asset-intensive industries.

Responsibilities

• Own executive relationships across VP/SVP/C-suite levels and connect delivery to business value.
• Oversee governance, RAID, milestones, and financial reporting for multiple engagements.
• Own engagement P&L, forecast margins, and optimize profitability while delivering outcomes.
• Drive renewal, upsell, and expansion opportunities within strategic accounts.
• Build and lead cross-functional delivery teams and partner with Product/Engineering.
