Job summary

IBM Global Sales is hiring an Executive Advisor to shape and scale our presence in the American market. This is a senior operator role, carrying strategic customer work in priority accounts while establishing and scaling the Executive Advisory motion across AMER.

You will translate ambition into actionable roadmaps, governance, and measurable business value from data streaming and transformation work. You’ll work credibly with CIO/CTO/CDO and colleagues, while building momentum through guidance,

Qualifications

Significant experience in executive advisory, with CIO/CTO/CDO stakeholders.
Ability to translate strategy into actionable programs and roadmaps.
Strong communication and facilitation skills for senior audiences.
Bias for action and willingness to move without formal authority.
Experience shaping business cases, ROI/TCO, and commercial storytelling.

Responsibilities

Lead executive advisory engagements in strategic AMER accounts.
Translate goals into practical steps, decision frameworks, and measurable outcomes.
Develop reusable IP, playbooks, and field-ready narratives.
Collaborate with sales, success, solutions engineering, and partners to scale impact.
Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and drive alignment.
Operate effectively in ambiguity and move initiatives forward.
