Job summary

IBM Global Sales is seeking an Executive Advisor to shape and scale our presence in the American market. You will carry strategic customer work in priority accounts while establishing and expanding the Executive Advisory motion across AMER.

The role requires credibility with CIO/CTO/CDO-level leaders and the ability to move ideas into actionable programs. You will align cross‑functional teams, translate strategic goals into concrete steps, and develop repeatable plays that deliver measurable

Qualifications

Significant experience in executive advisory, senior technology consulting, or enterprise transformation.
Ability to operate credibly with CIO/CTO/CDO-level stakeholders.
Bias for action and ability to move initiatives forward with ambiguity.

Responsibilities

Lead executive advisory engagements with strategic AMER accounts to shape vision, operating model, governance, and roadmaps.
Translate goals into practical steps, decision frameworks, and measurable outcomes.
Link recommendations to adoption, value realization, and account growth.
Collaborate with sales, customer success, solutions engineering, and partners to expand impact.
Create repeatable plays and narratives to scale the advisory function regionally.
Navigate ambiguous situations, align stakeholders, and drive execution.
Build trusted relationships across internal and external stakeholders and create alignment.
Support business cases, ROI/TCO framing, and commercial storytelling to advance opportunities.
