Job summary

Corner Alliance in the Washington, DC metro area is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant with 7+ years of experience to join our team and fully embrace our commitment to deliver, grow and thrive.

You will support our Federal government client as a trusted partner to senior leaders and program teams, providing high-level administrative and operational support to enable efficient office operations and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant professional experience OR
  • Master’s Degree and 5 years of experience
  • Experience providing executive, administrative, or operational support within a Federal agency or Federal contracting environment
  • Must be detail oriented with demonstrated experience in meeting coordinating, task tracking, calendar reconciliation, and travel preparation
  • Must have experience generating reports and developing briefs
  • Possess the ability to foster external relationships with key stakeholders for meeting coordination
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Demonstrated emotional intelligence, sound judgment, discretion, and the ability to build rapport with individuals at all levels of an organization
  • Must have an active SECRET security clearance
  • US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine executive-level tasks including scheduling, drafting internal memos, creating briefing materials, and coordinating meetings with agendas, notes, and follow-up actions
  • Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Manage, maintain, and de-conflict calendars for senior leaders and program stakeholders
  • Manage electronic records, action trackers, briefing materials, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams)
  • Coordinate all meetings and conference calls including room scheduling and external-facing meetings
  • Arrange travel for staff including local, domestic, international, and invitational travel
  • Ensure appropriate routing, review, clearance, and submission of leadership correspondence and high-priority documents
  • Maintain records (hardcopy and electronic) according to applicable directives
  • Perform ad-hoc administrative duties as requested by federal staff
  • Serve as a liaison across government stakeholders, contractor teams, and partner organizations
  • Monitor priorities and advise leadership on coordination opportunities
  • Support leadership in identifying and coordinating strategic engagements
  • Identify emerging trends and opportunities for strategic planning and growth

About the Role:

As an Executive Administrative Assistant supporting our Federal government client, you will serve as a trusted partner to senior leaders and program teams. In this role, you will provide high-level administrative and operational support that enables efficient office operations, foster collaboration across stakeholder groups, andhelpsleaders remain focused on strategic priorities. Responsibilities may include executive scheduling, meeting coordination, task management, travel preparation, briefing support, andfacilitatingcommunication across diverse teams and offices.

Key Responsibilities include (butarenot limited to):
  • Performing routine executive-level tasks to include but not limited to scheduling, drafting internal memos, creating briefing materials,and coordinating leadership, program, and office meetings, including agendas, notes, and follow-up actions
  • Taking creative direction and work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Managing, maintaining, and de-conflicting calendars for senior leaders and program stakeholders
  • Managing electronic records, action trackers, briefing materials, and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams) to support office operations
  • Coordinating all meetings and conference calls to include scheduling with other attendees, scheduling conference rooms, and all external facing meetings
  • Arranging travel for staff as assigned to include local, domestic, international, and invitational travel
  • Ensuring appropriate routing, review, clearance, and submission of leadership correspondence, decision memoranda, and other high-priority documents
  • Maintaining records (hardcopy and electronic) in accordance with Applicable Management Directives
  • Performing ad-hoc administrative duties as requested by the federal staff
  • Serve as a trusted liaison and relationship manager across government stakeholders, contractor teams, and partner organizations to facilitate communication and information sharing
  • Maintain awareness of emerging priorities, organizational developments, and stakeholder needs to proactively identify opportunities to improve coordination and support leadership decision-making
  • Act as a connector across teams by fostering strong working relationships and ensuring critical information reaches the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner
  • Support leadership in identifying, tracking, and coordinating strategic engagements that contribute to organizational priorities and mission advancement
  • Identify and elevate emerging trends, stakeholder interests, or collaboration opportunities that may inform strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives

Location:

You will work as part of a hybrid team in the Washington, DC metro area.

Required Experience/Skills:
