Qualifications

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Active SECRET security clearance.
  • Experience engaging with senior government leaders and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of division priorities, goals, requirements, and objectives.
  • Conduct market research to maximize impact and minimize costs; manage deadlines and promote desired outcomes.
  • Develop and coordinate a support staffing plan; define efficiencies and standard operating procedures office-wide.
  • Manage and reconcile meeting/engagement expenditures; analyze ROI and lessons learned.
  • Support workforce development and training initiatives.
  • Provide oversight of records and knowledge management processes.
  • Analyze program output data and measure division achievements.
  • Identify program strengths and weaknesses and propose improvements.
  • Support creation of the client’s knowledge management initiative.

About the Role:

As an Operations Support Specialist supporting ourFederalgovernment client,you will be trusted to support all activities and efforts related to business operations managed and executed by the Staff Director. In thisroleyou will support the evaluation, analysis,strategy,and development of policies,processes, and recommended business operations solutions.

KeyResponsibilities include (but not limited to):
  • Supporting the development and execution of division priorities, goals,requirements,and objectives
  • Conducting market research to maximize impact and minimize costs; manage deadlines and promote desired outcomes
  • Developing and coordinating support staffing plan;recommended efficiencies;process flows and standard operating procedures office-wide
  • Managing and reconciling meeting/engagement expenditures;integratedata into ROI metrics analysis and lessons learned
  • Supporting workforce development and training initiatives
  • Providing oversight, management and development of records management and knowledge management processes
  • Analyzing and interpretinglarge amountsof program output data and information associated with Division accomplishments and measurable impacts
  • Assistingwith the identification of programmatic strengths and weaknesses
  • Supporting the creation and development of the clients’knowledge management initiative

Location:

You will work as part of a hybrid team in the Washington, DC metro area.

Required Experience/Skills:
  • ABachelor’sdegree and 7 years of relevant professional experience _ or _
  • Demonstrated experiencewith cross-functional team collaboration
  • Experience managing quick-turn requirements, tasks, and deliverables across multiple concurrent workstreams in a fast-paced federal environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute complex assignments under tight timelines, shifting priorities, and limited resources.
  • Ability to translate formal requirements or ambiguous direction into structured work plans, workflows, tracking mechanisms, and repeatable processes that reduce duplication and improve efficiency.
  • Experience engaging with senior government leaders, contractors, and external stakeholders across meetings, briefings, and day-to-day coordination settings.
  • The ability to manage multiple projectsandprovide proposals and recommendations oncontent,processes,and initiatives undertaken by the federal staff
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Must have an active SECRET security clearance
PreferredExperience/Skills:
  • Previousexperience supporting the Department of Homeland Security
  • Strong command of Agile/Scrum style project management
  • Experience with SharePoint,PowerBI, Atlassian Tools (JIRA)
