Job summary

HCL Technologies Limited seeks an Exchange Support Engineer to design, maintain, and support our enterprise messaging environment. The role focuses on Exchange Online and on-prem hybrid configurations, mail flow, and automation via PowerShell.

The candidate will resolve incidents, manage user access, and document procedures, collaborating with Microsoft Premier Support to handle complex incidents and ensure high mail availability.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of direct experience administering Microsoft Exchange Server and Exchange Online.
• Solid grasp of Active Directory, DNS, SMTP routing, and Microsoft 365 tenant management.
• PowerShell: basic familiarity with running and modifying basic Exchange cmdlets (e.g., Get-Mailbox, Set-Mailbox)

Responsibilities

• Design, maintain, and support Exchange Online/On-Prem hybrid environment.
• Troubleshoot mail flow, NDRs, SMTP connectors, SPF/DKIM/DMARC.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated messaging issues (Outlook, calendars, mobile sync).
• Automate administrative tasks with PowerShell at scale.
• Collaborate with Microsoft Premier Support to resolve complex incidents.
• Maintain documentation and monitor system health to prevent outages.
