Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Benefits Administrator in Lake Oswego to manage day-to-day benefits and leave programs, ensuring accurate enrollment, compliance, and employee support. The role partners with HR, payroll, carriers, and vendors to ensure timely administration and data accuracy.

The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience in benefits, leave, and HRIS systems.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of benefits and leave administration or HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of employee benefits administration and relevant laws.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and advanced formulas.

Responsibilities

• Administer employee benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, HSAs/FSAs, life insurance, disability, retirement, voluntary benefits).
• Manage new hires, qualifying events, open enrollment, and terminations while maintaining accurate records in HRIS.
• Audit eligibility, deductions, invoices, and enrollment data; reconcile carrier invoices.
• Collaborate with payroll to ensure correct deductions and employer contributions; respond to inquiries.
