Job summary
LaMontagne Builders, Inc. is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to perform a variety of digging and trenching tasks on construction sites in southern New Hampshire, within 30 minutes of Bedford.
The role offers full-time hourly employment with health, dental, vision, and other benefits after 90 days. Qualified applicants will have high school diploma or equivalent and proven experience operating excavators, reading grade stakes, and following safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven expert experience operating excavators in varied environments.
- Ability to read grade stakes or follow verbal directions for grade/excavation depth.
- Willingness to work outside in adverse weather and around live utilities.
Responsibilities
- Support crews in all excavation environments.
- Assist with safe trenching and backfilling operations.
- Coordinate with foreman and crew to meet project specs and deadlines.
- Maintain safe slopes and distances per OSHA standards.
- Perform general labor when equipment is idle, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
