Job summary

Branch's Civil Division is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team. The role involves operating a power shovel on which digger is pulled toward machine to excavate. All machines will be over ½ cubic yard.

The position is full-time with a commitment to safety and efficiency, including on-call hours due to weather and site delays. Candidates should have 1-3 years of excavation experience and familiarity with OSHA rules.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction techniques.
• 1 to 3 years of excavator operating experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• DOT experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Grades to line and grade.
• May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Operate on track or rubber tired; includes gradall or wrist-o-twist equipment.
• May complete minor repairs.
• Routine cleaning of equipment.
