Branch's Civil Division is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our growing, safety‑minded team in Glen Allen, VA. The position operates power shovels for excavation projects, with machines over ½ cubic yard, and is a full‑time role requiring dependable performance.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of excavator operating experience and working knowledge of OSHA regulations; DOT experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction techniques.
• 1 to 3 years of excavator operating experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• DOT experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Grades to line and grade.
• May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Operate on track or rubber tired; may use gradall or wrist-o-twist type equipment.
• May complete minor repairs.
• Routine cleaning of equipment.
