Job summary

Branch is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator for our Civil Division. The operator will work with power shovels (½ cubic yard) to excavate, perform grading to line and grade, and conduct routine equipment maintenance on-site.

Ideal candidates bring knowledge of construction techniques, 1–3 years of excavator operating experience, and familiarity with OSHA regulations; DOT experience is a plus. This full-time role may require on-call hours for site delays and weather emergencies.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of construction techniques.
• 1–3 years of excavator operating experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Grades to line and grade.
• May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Operates on track or rubber-tired; may use gradall or wrist-o-twist equipment.
• May complete minor repairs.
• Routine cleaning of equipment.
