Job summary

Branch Builds, Inc.’s Civil Division is seeking an experienced and safety‑minded Excavator Operator to join our growing team. The operator will handle a power shovel on which a digger is pulled toward the machine to excavate, with ½ cubic yard plus equipment used on site at multiple jobs.

Duties include grading to line and grade, routine maintenance, minor repairs, and high standards of safety and cleanliness. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of excavator experience and OSHA knowledge.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of excavator operating experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Knowledge of construction techniques.
• DOT experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Grades to line and grade.
• May service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Can operate on track or rubber tired and also included under this title will be gradall or wrist-o-twist type equipment.
• May complete minor repairs.
• Routine cleaning of equipment.
