Job summary

The ideal candidate will have a minimum high school diploma or GED, with construction experience preferred. Responsibilities include assisting crew tasks, operating tools, and supporting traffic control and material placement on job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• Previous related experience in construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with safety policies and procedures.
• Follow OSHA / MSHA regulations for safe work procedures and environment.
• Assist construction/paving crew with duties such as shoveling, raking and wheelbarrow work.
• Signal operators to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
• Dig, spread and level construction materials and lift/carry supplies.
• Assist in placement, movement and dismantling of traffic control devices.
• May operate small power tools like jack hammers; perform other duties as assigned.
