Roto-Rooter is hiring an Excavation Technician in the Los Angeles North area (Alhambra, CA). The role focuses on sewer and water service repairs/replacements and requires hands-on excavation work, customer interaction, and safe operation of excavation equipment.

The position offers competitive pay and benefits, with eligibility for CDL where necessary. Responsibilities include performing excavations, pipe repairs or installations, and driving between sites while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in excavation projects for residential and commercial settings.
• Must have a valid driver's license; CDL may be required depending on vehicle.
• Demonstrate proficiency in navigating excavation environments, including confined spaces and trench operations.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize safety by following OSHA and Roto-Rooter safety protocols.
• Interact with customers as needed.
• Perform excavation tasks followed by pipe repairs or new pipe installations as an Excavation Technician.
• Operates back-hoe, mini-excavator, skid steers, and/or other excavation machinery.
• Work in confined spaces and open trenches.
• Locate and arrive at job sites in a timely manner; safely drive and operate service vehicle between job sites.
