Job summary

Roto-Rooter is seeking an Excavation Technician to carry out residential and commercial sewer and water service repairs. You will perform excavations, install pipes, and ensure work meets safety and quality standards.

The role requires operating heavy excavation equipment, navigating confined spaces, and coordinating with customers. A valid driver's license is required, and a CDL may be needed for certain vehicles. Training wage is provided with potential commissions based on revenue.

Qualifications

• Hands-on excavation experience in residential and commercial settings.
• Ability to navigate confined spaces and trenches safely.
• Must have valid driver’s license; CDL may be required for the assigned vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA and company safety protocols at all times.
• Interact with customers as needed on job sites.
• Perform excavations, then complete pipe repairs or new installations as an Excavation Technician.
• Operate back-hoe, mini-excavator, skid steers, and related machinery.
• Locate and arrive at job sites promptly and drive the service vehicle between sites.
